Small pet holidays
What is small Pet Boarding?
Small Pet Boarding is a place where you can take pets such as
- Rabbits
- Guinea pigs
- Hamster
- Bearded dragons/Tortoise
- Caged Aviary Birds
- Poultry
- and many more
How does it work?
Great Question! Every pet that comes to stay has their own individual pen/Lodge unless they are a bonded par of rabbits or guinea pig. So there is no sharing with other households and no unwanted pregnancies.
We do daily clean outs to prevent any bacteria build up and also so that noone is jumping in their own poop. Bowls are cleaned daily too.
We love to meet new furries coming to stay with us, so everyone gets a cuddle and plenty of it while thry are here. Even our old clients get cuddles too. Its my favourite part of the job.
Food! well of course there is lots of it to go around. We provide Hay and fresh veggies for all of our little guests. with treats given if permitted.
We take all ages of small pets our youngest stays were 5wk old baby bunnies. They came with mum and dad.
What can you provide?
To help your pet settle for the first time we advise you pop a blanket or whatever type of bedding you use with their smell on, or something with your smell.
Hard food (Nuggets). There are so many different brands of pet food we couldn't stock it all. But to help your small pet keep on track and not get an upset stomach that they bring their own food. You will get this back at the end of their stay if any remains.
Toys if your pet has any toys or chews that they could bring then please pop these in their bag. However if you have forgotten them then we do have a few here that we can provide. So please dont stress.
